Who We Are
The Imagine Nation Museum is a hands-on, interactive children's museum best suited for ages 2 to 10. We are a not-for-profit 501(c)3 corporation a division of the Boys & Girls Club & Family Center of Bristol and funded in part by the United Way of West Central Connecticut.



Admission Information
Admission is $7.00 per person.
Infants under one are admitted free of charge.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.


Present your current museum membership card with the ACM Reciprocal Program sticker on the reverse side for free admission for up to 4 family members.

Blue Star Museums is a partnership among Blue Star Families, the National Endowment for the Arts, and more than 900 museums in all 50 states.

The free admission program is available to any bearer of a Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), a DD Form 1173 ID card, or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card, which includes active duty military (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard), National Guard and Reserve members and up to five immediate family members. The program runs until Labor Day.

Museum Hours Wednesday 9:30 am - 5:00 pm Thursday 9:30 am - 5:00 pm Friday 9:30 pm - 5:00 pm The first Friday of the month we are open until 8 pm Saturday 11:00 am - 5:00 pm Sunday 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm Note that the museum is open for summer extended hours on Tuesdays from 9:30 - 5:00 pm July 6 - Aug. 24 Just for Imagine Nation members: Stay Until 6 pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday! Group field trips and scout programs are scheduled by arrangement. Please call 860-314-1400 x. 3163 to schedule. Directions and Parking
Imagine Nation is located in downtown Bristol with close proximity to Routes 6, 72, 69, 229 and I-84.

Free parking is available in our museum lot accessible from Upson Street. Limited street parking is also available on Pleasant Street and Upson Street. On weekends only, visitors may use the Bristol Board of Education parking lot located on Church Street.

During school field trips, buses may park on Church Street directly adjacent to the museum's front entrance or use the parking area behind the Bristol Baptist Church. This lot is accessible from Church Street in between the Bristol Baptist Church and the Bristol Board of Education building.
